Jigaon Dam Project

“Fabrication and Erection of Spillway Radial Gates, Stop Log Gates, Hoisting Arrangement, Goliath Crane of Jigaon Project.”

The Jigaon Project is one of the major project in Vidarbha Region of Maharashtra State. The Project is proposed on Purna River under section of Village Jigaon in Nandura Tahsil of Buldhana District looking to the public response from affected area & to reduce submergence area, keeping the water utilization unchanged. The Project envisages of Central Gated Masonry Spillway (16 Nos. of Radial gates of Size 15.00 meter X 12.00 Meter) and Earthen Embankment on both Left and Right Flanks. The total length of Dam including Spillway is 7680 Meter. The work under this tender consisted of Fabrication, Transportation, Supply, Painting, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Radial gates (Gate No. 1 to 16) and Rope Drum Hoisting Mechanism for 16 Gates with all Allied Components such as Trunnion Girder Bridge, Goliath Crane, Stop Log Gates with all Embedded Parts, River Sluice Generator Sets, Wiring etc. including cost of materials, labours and specified Testing, Operation and Maintenance in conformity with basic parameters, technical drawings and design for the Spillway of Jigaon Project.
