Parnai Hydro Electric Project (Hep) – 37.5 Mw

Parnai Hydro Electric is a Project by Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Ltd. (JKSPDC), a Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir Undertaking. Parnai HEP, was envisioned to be implemented at an installed capacity of 37.5 MW with 3 units of 12.5 MW each. It is located on River Suran, a tributary of River Jhelam in district Surankot & Mendhar of Jammu & Kashmir State of India. The entire hydro mechanical scope of the project has been awarded to SSFM. It involves procurement, supply, fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of complete penstock line of Ø 2.00 Meter and service, stop  log and under sluice gates for the barrage.
